The time trial will be run "style formula 1". This means that riders will have 2 frames of 20 minutes where they can make as many starts as they like to set a fast time. We will use transponders for this registration. Transponders will be made available to the riders with their license as bail (or 100 euro).

To make the event more attractive, we have also organized a time trial for boys and girls 15/16. Both categories have a total prize award of € 235.

Registration is free.

All winners of the time trial will receive a superb watch, sponsored by SWATCH!!!

On the campsite:

On Saturday, Sunday and Mondaymorning a baker with fresh baked bread will visit the campsite. He will start his tour at 7.00 AM. There will be a variety of bread available!!!

Dear Riders,

As you might have guessed, we have a range of food and drinks available during this event. In the “big” cantina you can find the “Food Corner”. You can buy French fries, snacks and on many requests also pasta. All at reasonable prices!

Both in this cantina as well as in the tent you can buy all sorts of drinks.

Dear guests,

To make you remember this event in Valkenswaard, we have arranged a limited number of 250 T-shirts with the UEC Summerrace logo printed on the frontside.

This logo has been developed especially and exclusively for this event by Arie van den Dikkenberg.

We have managed to keep the price attractive: € 10 euro per pc. The shirts will be sold near the track. But don’t wait too long!!!

On Friday evening the 27th we have a smashing Old School Party in the tent right next to the track.

In real Old School tradition we have booked an astonishing live gig. To make sure things will be really swinging the coverband H3 will be playing all hits from the 70s and 80s!!! These three slightly crazy, but brilliant musicians will blow your head of and bring the Old School times back to live.

We start around 9 pm and probably just can make it untill 1 am.

Dear riders,

The preparation for the UEC Summerrace is in full progress. The track is looking good and we receive a lot of feedback from riders from all over Europe who want to compete that weekend.

Besides a lot of challenge riders who like to start the summer holidays with a super weekend at Valkenswaard, there are also a lot of elite riders that have confirmed their presence.

After the World Championship there are still a number of weeks to go before the Olympics and one does need to stay in “race condition”. Besides that, the prize money is also attracting juniors and elites. So we are looking forward to some excellent racing!!!
